Please join us for our Fall Movie Discussion series, which will focus on Dalton Trumbo and the Hollywood Blacklist. For our movie discussions, our multimedia librarian, Ted, will give a short talk about the background of each film. Learn some fun facts and trivia before watching the movie!

Dalton Trumbo was one of the greatest screenwriters in the history of Hollywood. He was also blacklisted during the McCarthy era and many of his scripts were written under assumed names. His story has recently come to light with the release of the film “Trumbo”. We’ll watch that film in September. Then in October, we’ll watch one of the great films about the McCarthy era, “Good Night, and Good Luck”. We’ll finish up the series in November with one of Trumbo’s greatest screenplays that he had to write under an assumed name, “Roman Holiday”.  All movies will be shown in HD Blu-ray. No registration required. ALL FILMS BEGIN AT 1PM.
