How much research do you do about a car loan when you’re car shopping?

We’re excited to announce a new online resource for patrons in the market for buying a car: Auto Finance Resource. With Auto Finance Resource, you can get up-to-date, vetted quotes on the best available car loans in your area. This is insider information you can’t find through Google. These quotes are from a market research firm that contracts with car dealers across the country and have now made that information available to libraries.

Get started by signing in with your library card. Then enter some basic information like your zip code, the length of your potential loan, and if you’re looking for a new or used car. Your results will list area banks and credit unions offering loans at different interest rates, along with contact information if you’d like to apply for those loans.

This resource is great for new or veteran car buyers. The Auto Finance Resource website includes educational videos to help you walk into a car dealership with confidence, and walk out knowing you got the best deal for your car loan. To access Auto Finance Resource from inside the Library, click here. To access Auto Finance Resource from outside the Library, click here.

If you have any questions or want some help using this new resource, check in with our Adult Services department on the lower level or at reference@deerfieldlibrary.org, (847) 580-8933.
