Are you a homeschooling family?  Are you looking for educational activities to help reinforce what you are teaching at home?  If you are, then join us for our monthly homeschool programs.  Each month is a new activity.  Some popular programs we’ve had in the past are:

  • Book discussions
  • Readers’ theater
  • Science programs
  • Art classes
  • Computer instruction in our computer lab

Coming to our monthly meetings is a great opportunity to meet other homeschooling families.  We have a lot of fun and learn a lot too.  If you’d like more information, please contact Kate Easley at keasley@deerfieldlibrary.org

Upcoming programs:

  • Monday, November 17, 1:30 pm – Learn Microsoft Publisher through instruction and a fun hands-on activity in our computer lab.
  • Monday, January 12, 2:00 pm – Witness the water cycle and see how this process leads to sun and storms!  Instant clouds and touchable lightning unlock the complex phenomena of weather!
  • Monday, February 9, 1:30 pm – Let’s have fun acting out our favorite stories and books!
