Queer Poem-a-Day is a special daily podcast series for Pride Month, featuring a recording of a poem written and read by a contemporary LGBTQIA+ poet for each day of June. This unique, limited-run series is released on the Deerfield Public Library Podcast feed, which hosts interviews with authors and other notable people year-round.

Queer Poem-a-Day is directed by poet and teacher Lisa Hiton, and Dylan Zavagno, Adult Services Coordinator and host of the Deerfield Public Library Podcast. Music for the program is from the first movement of Excursions, Op. 20 by Samuel Barber, performed by pianist Daniel Baer. Support for this program is provided by The Friends of the Deerfield Public Library. Queer Poem-a-Day is supported by generous contributions from the Friends of the Deerfield Public Library.
