Updated April 24, 2020
We have been closely monitoring the Governor’s stay-at-home orders during this unprecedented time. As such, the Deerfield Public Library building will remain closed to the public during the month of May. Please continue to keep your materials at home. All materials will be renewed.
However, the staff has been working hard from their homes to continue to provide services for our community. Our reference librarians are available Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. via email at reference@deerfieldlibrary.org or online chat found on the front of our website.
Our staff is creating new online programs, including virtual storytimes, crafts, and book discussions. We have increased the number of checkouts available on some of our digital resources, such as Hoopla. If you need a library card, you can register for an account on our website.
We are eager to get back in the building and see our community but we also know that we must continue to do our part. We appreciate your patience and look forward to seeing you soon!
