Hey Makers
Mother’s Day is just around the corner and if you haven’t ordered a gift yet it’s time to get creative! Before you run out to buy a last-minute bouquet, consider making some felt forever flowers.
These continuous cut spiral flowers are a breeze to assemble and are even easier to customize. Make a bouquet, a wreath, or use individual flowers as a stand-alone decoration to embellish a present. The possibilities are endless!
For this project you will need:
- Hot Glue
- Felt Flowers and Leaves (come in and cut these with us, or request a kit!)
- Pick a spiral cut flower base to begin.
- Starting with the outer end of your spiral, roll up your flower.
- Continue until the whole spiral is rolled, leaving only the circle on the end unrolled.
- Apply a small amount of hot glue to the base and carefully press the circle into place to secure everything.
- You can make a huge variety of flower styles.
- (Optional) Add leaves or vines as embellishments!
