The library will be offering free one-on-ones and check-ins for senior citizens and adults with developmental and physical disabilities. These one-on-ones can be provided via phone, email, or Skype, and you do not need to be a Deerfield Library cardholder to receive this service. If you have any questions about this service, or if you or someone you know might benefit from a library lifeline call, email Vicki at vkarlovsky@deerfieldlibrary.org.
We have also extended the reach of our wifi. The Library’s wifi internet can now be accessed safely from your car in our parking lot.

Want to help?
The West Deerfield Township Food Pantry is currently seeking donations! There is a cart outside the township office where donations can be left, and they are checking it regularly (601 Deerfield Road). In addition to food donations, they welcome gift cards to Walgreens, Jewel, or Walmart. You can also make monetary donations and get more information about their wish list through their website.
The United Way of Lake County has established a fund to help those impacted by the coronavirus outbreak.
The State of Illinois has an on-line volunteer clearinghouse with information on how to help.
