We invite you to stop by the Library and hear this wonderfully-talented group of student musicians regale you with music for the holidays.
The Deerfield High School Chamber Orchestra will perform holiday chamber music on Sunday, December 14, from 2:00-3:00 p.m. in the downstairs meeting rooms.
This will be the second Library performance for this 15 member string orchestra. If you were lucky enough to hear them play last year, their music could be heard wafting through the Library on both the upper and lower levels, much to the appreciation of both staff and patrons.
Under the direction of Ron Velleuer, this group’s repertoire will include a number of instrumental Hanukkah and Christmas selections. Something else you’ll find enjoyable is the student/audience interaction where one can learn more about this group and what it takes to be a member. So, take a break, relax and rediscover what brings you joy this holiday season.
Please register in advance at www.deerfieldlibrary.org or by calling the Library at 847.945.3311.
