Do you have a creative knack for photography and capturing moments in life that you love sharing with others? This fall, from September through November, join fellow photographers in an ongoing photography scavenger hunt at Deerfield Public Library. You’ll receive weekly prompts and create beautiful art. Register to participate.
No photography experience necessary, and you can use whatever kind of camera you have/want! You do not need a library card to participate. Open to teens and adults.
Submit Photos
Register for the program to submit photos. From September to November, there will be a new prompt per week for the first three weeks of the month leaving the last week for voting.
Use the prompt as your guide and submit an original photo online. Photos will be on display in our online gallery and in the library for public viewing.
Vote on Photos
Anyone can vote for their favorite photos for each month! Vote online or submit a ballot at the media and youth desks in the library. The winners from each month will be entered into our final round of voting.
There will be a prize for each month’s winner, as well as a special grand prize award for our final winner!
