Have you ever wondered if a book was for you and really didn’t want to rely on the publisher’s promotional content? Well, we have a solution- First Chapter Friday! First Chapter Friday is a fun sneak-peek of a youth book’s first chapter read out loud, you decide if you want to read the rest of the book. If you are left hanging after that first chapter and want to read more, you have the ability to check that book out at the Deerfield Public Library!
First Chapter Fridays are a way for a child to relax, listen to a book with no commitment and no activities attached to it. Most chapters average eight minutes in length.
