From March 1-22, the Library will be collecting donations for the West Deerfield Township Food Pantry of non-perishable foodstuffs, household cleaning items, and personal hygiene products.
Donations can be dropped off in the shopping cart, courtesy of Whole Foods Market, in the Library’s lobby. Please check the expiration date, and donate non-expired foods, only!
The Food Pantry Wish List includes:
- Canned protein (tuna, chicken, ham, beans)
- Cereal (esp. Cheerios)
- Canned fruit (small size)
- Coffee & Tea
- Granola bars
- Oatmeal canisters
- Pasta sauce
- Peanut Butter & Jelly
- Rice (white, boxed)
- Deodorant
- Laundry detergent (small size)
- Toilet paper & paper towels
- Feminine hygiene products
- Razors & shaving cream
The West Deerfield Township Food Pantry serves over 365 township residents each month who find themselves in need, either on a long-term or temporary basis. All items distributed by the Food Pantry are donated by neighbors and area businesses, and sorting and shelving is all done by volunteers.
