We’re back again this year with another Guess the Oscars contest. It was an interesting year in movies in 2020 and the Academy Awards will go on! No paper ballots in the library this year but please feel free to fill out our online form for this year’s contest.
One of the interesting things about this year’s Oscar nominees is that many of the films were only available as streaming content and only available on platforms like Netflix. If you don’t currently have a streaming device and don’t have access to Netflix please consider checking out a Roku device from the Deerfield Public Library. You’ll be able to watch a number of the nominated films that way. Our Media Librarians can help you find what platforms the Oscar-nominated films will be available on and how you can watch them.
For our contest, choose who you think will win the Oscar in 15 different categories. A winner will be chosen from the entries with the most number of correct answers. First prize is a deluxe Roku Streaming Player.
Entries will be accepted until 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 25. The Academy Awards will be announced later that evening. All ages can participate, but only one entry per person, please. You must be able to pick up your prize at the Deerfield Public Library. Good luck!
