Have you ever come to the library wanting to use a computer, only to find that the computer lab is full? Or would you prefer to use a computer in that special corner of the library, where you most enjoy studying or reading, without having to relocate to the computer lab? The library has a solution! We now check out laptops for use in the library. Anyone may borrow a laptop to use, as long as he or she is at least 18 years old and has a government issued photo i.d.
Laptops can be checked out at the computer lab help desk (on the lower level of the library) for 90 minutes and are renewable for two additional 30 minute sessions. A mouse and a power cord are also available upon request. The laptops have the same essential features as the desktop computers in the lab, including access to printing.
Have questions about laptops or other library services? Feel free to speak with a patron services assistant at one of the library service desks.
