Some of our patrons may remember that last year we did a survey at the Multimedia Desk asking our patrons if they would like to check out movies for seven (7) days instead of three (3). The results told us that yes, our patrons wanted longer checkout times for the adult DVDs and Blu-rays. We also thought it would easier for our patrons if the checkout times were more standard. You’ll no longer have to worry about which movies are due when. New and old, youth and adult, DVDs and Blu-rays will all have a checkout period of one week. We think this will make things easier for everyone to remember.
Starting July 6, you can check out all films on DVD and Blu-ray for one week.
In addition to extending our loan period for movies, we’ve also extended the checkout time for TV Shows and Board Games and Puzzles to three (3) weeks (21-day loan).
- All Movies on DVD and Blu-ray (one week)
- TV on DVD and Blu-ray (three weeks)
- Board Games and Puzzles (three weeks)
