About the mobile app
The new Deerfield Public Library mobile app allows you to access the Library anytime, anywhere! You can download the new app from the App Store or Google Play.
Please delete the old app if you have it installed on your mobile device as it will no longer be supported.
The new mobile app’s features include:
- Search the library catalog
- Place holds, check out, and renew material
- Browse through the calendar and register for events
- View online/digital resources
- And more!
About the calendar
You can find the new calendar at deerfield.libnet.info/events, on our mobile app, or on our homepage by going to the programs menu and clicking on the events calendar. Once there, you can view events by date, week, or month in a list or grid calendar view. You can also look through the events by searching keywords and filter by age group and event type. If you bookmarked the old calendar page, be sure to update your bookmark to link to the new calendar.
How to Register for Programs
Registering for programs in our new event calendar is easy whether you’re on the mobile app, on a mobile web browser, or on a desktop. When you find an event you want to sign up for, click the green “Register” button.
A window with a registration form will pop up, where you can fill in your information including your first name, last name, email, and phone number. If you are using the mobile app and you are logged in, the information will automatically fill in for you. Once you have filled in your information, click the blue “Register” button.
Once you are registered, a window will pop-up confirming your registration. You will receive a reservation reference number, labeled as “Ref.” Save this number, as you will use to view or cancel your registration at deerfield.libnet.info/myevents, which is also provided upon registration. You will also receive an email letting you know that you have registered for the event
