As everyone continues to stay warm inside this month, we decided to bring back a fan-favorite activity! You may remember I made virtual activities based on the Choose Your Own Adventure stories a few years ago. Our Choose Your Own Story: Pete the Cat Mystery is now available once again!
Pete the Cat goes to put on his coat one morning when he discovers his four groovy buttons are missing! Help him find all four with the help of his friends and family. As you go through this mystery, you will be able to make choices. Pick one to see where it takes you and how it changes the story. Every time you make a choice, something different will happen!
This virtual activity was created for kids 5-8 years old and their grown-ups, but any fan of Pete the Cat can try it out!
Choose Your Own Adventure stories are fun because they allow us to create a unique reading experience. They’re also a great way to enter into stories with characters that we love, letting us get closer to them than ever.
This activity includes lots of different locations as you search for Pete’s four missing groovy buttons. You’ll also see some other characters from the Pete the Cat books along the way – see how many friends you can find!
If you get through the story but want to go to different locations, go backwards and make a different choice to see where it takes you.
