Public Library Access and Community for Everyone
At the Deerfield Public Library, we are committed to meeting the needs of ALL our patrons. With that in mind, we offer a program series geared specifically toward our adult and teen patrons with intellectual, cognitive, and developmental disabilities, as well as their parents and caregivers. The program series is called P.L.A.C.E.: Public Library Access and Community for Everyone.
Please join us on Thursday, October 19, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. for an evening of community, conversation, and Halloween fun with a sensory-friendly viewing and film discussion of Tim Burton’s stop-motion masterpiece, The Nightmare Before Christmas. Come enjoy this fun, dark, and delightful film for the first time, or as a repeat viewing. Halloween treats will be served, and parents and caregivers are encouraged to attend. Come find your place at the Deerfield Public Library. We hope you will join us! Register here.
If you have any questions or special requests, please feel free to contact Vicki at vkarlovsky@deerfieldlibrary.org.
