Queer Poem-a-Day is a special daily podcast series for Pride Month, featuring a recording of a poem written and read by a contemporary LGBTQIA+ poet for each day of June 2021. This unique, limited-run series will be released on the Deerfield Public Library Podcast feed, which normally hosts interviews with authors of all genres and other notable people from Chicagoland and around the world.

Listen on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, and Stitcher Radio.

Queer Poem-a-Day is directed by poet and teacher Lisa Hiton, and Dylan Zavagno, Adult Services Coordinator at the Library and host of the Deerfield Public Library Podcast. Music for our program is from the first movement of Excursions, Op. 20 by Samuel Barber, performed by pianist Daniel Baer. Support for this program is provided by The Friends of the Deerfield Public Library.

Queer Poem-a-Day is a program from the Adult Services Department at the Library and may include adult language.
