We are almost halfway through Vol. 2 of our popular reading program, Read Without Boundaries! We have explored themes such as mental health, women in history, Illinois history, and LGBTQ stories.
If tackling a year-long reading challenge seems too daunting, our Read Without Boundaries Summer Edition is a great opportunity to try out a shorter challenge. We will have fun themes and prizes for June, July, and August. For every month you complete, you will receive a prize, and if you complete all three months, you’ll be entered into a drawing for a grand prize, which includes a pretty awesome Igloo cooler and fun summer accessories. We’ll be releasing all three themes on June 1, so you can get a head start on all your summer reading.

This summer we are also introducing a special Watch Without Boundaries challenge, which invites you to watch movies based on our monthly themes. If you complete all three months, you’ll be entered to win a DVD player! Be sure to stop by the Adult Services or Media desks starting on June 1st to participate!
