The MakerSpace is a multifunctional space designed to help the Deerfield community learn, create, collaborate, and have fun with technology. Equipment and services include the Digital Media Lab, 3D Printing, Sewing, Embroidery, Laser Engraving, Vinyl Cutting, Large Format Printing, and more.

Patrons can print to our color or black & white printers from home or within the Library. You can even print from your mobile device! Our scan station makes it easy to make digital copies of all of your documents, and it’s free.

There are eight study rooms available for private study or small groups. Meeting rooms are available free of charge for meetings and programs conducted by not-for-profit groups on subjects of educational, civic or cultural interest. Submit a meeting room application.
Patrons can sign up to receive text notices about items available to pick up, items due soon, overdue items, and fines. You can also send a text to request a renewal and you’ll receive a text back with the result of your request, as well as send a text to see your account’s expiration date.
Virtual Patron Library Card Registration
You can register for a library card online. Fill out the online registration form and a Patron Services staff member will call you to set up a virtual registration appointment.
The Deerfield Public Library offers free Wi-Fi throughout the building making it the perfect place to study, work, or play. We also offer desktop and laptop computers for use within the Library.
