Wi-Fi and Computers

WiFi access is now available outside and around the Deerfield Public Library

The Deerfield Public Library offers free Wi-Fi throughout the building and outside in the surrounding grounds and parking lot, making it the perfect place to study, work, or play. Some services you can enjoy while connected to our network include:

  • Wireless printing to our color and black & white printers. Access our wireless printing page here
  • Access to our library of digital magazines, ebooks, and more
  • Access to premium online resources and databases

To access the internet, connect your device the SSID Deerfield Library

While connected you should accept full responsibility for protecting your own security and privacy. In addition, by accessing our wireless network you agree to our Wi-Fi usage policies. We cannot guarantee any level of service and cannot troubleshoot machine specific connection issues. If you need assistance we offer a variety of computer classes

We offer desktop and laptop computers for use within the Library.

  • The Youth Computer Lab is on the first floor and is available for children
  • The Adult Computer Lab is located on the lower level
  • Laptop computers are available for use within the Library at the lower level Information Desk
  • Adult computers are available for 120 minute sessions with up to to 30 minute extensions
  • Youth computers are available for 60 minute sessions with up to to 30 minute extensions
  • Express computers are available for 15 minute sessions at the first floor Information Desk

All public use PC computers have:

  • Microsoft Office Standard 2016
  • Internet access
  • Printing access
