Budgeting for college expenses can be tricky and stressful, and those aren’t exactly words you want attached to such an amazing adventure, right? The Library offers a wealth (pun intended) of information that may help parents and students alike as they venture into those college unknowns.
This month we’ll be welcoming the My College Planning Team as they present “How to Pay for College Without Going Broke”. The team of experts will not only present on saving for and during college but will also be available after the presentation for questions and comments. High School students, College students, parents, and guardians are all welcome to this interactive program that may just quell some of those financial worries. The program will be held on Thursday, September 20, 6:30-8 p.m. Go online or call the Library to register!
More Resources
In addition to our programs, the Library also offers a variety of resources, both digital and print, that can aid in your journey through the college experience. We own a variety of current college planning books that can be checked out, or you can access our online resources 24/7. Hoopla is a free streaming service for E-books, E-audiobooks, and videos that offer a variety of helpful videos and books, and you can download E-books and E-audiobooks through My Media Mall. All you need is your Library card!
