Library Resources for Kids
TumbleBookLibrary and TumbleMath are amazing! Everything from read-aloud picture books to graphic novels, non-fiction books to videos, puzzles, and games to language learning are in the TumbleBookLibrary. Even I was surprised to find favorites like Ivy and Bean and Geronimo Stilton there! TumbleMath has a similarly vast offerings of math-related books, like the Sir Cumference series and Math Manga books.
Kanopy Kids is filled with child-friendly movies, television shows, storytimes, science and math lessons, even foreign language learning videos! Kanopy is under the Media tab on our home page. Once you’re in Kanopy, you’ll find Kanopy Kids in the upper right, and it is definitely worth checking out.
Scholastic Teachables is your go-to database for printable activities suitable for preschool to 8th grade. You can sort by subject, grade level, type of activity, theme, etc. Whether it’s puzzles and games or science experiments and so much more, be sure to look at Scholastic Teachables.
Hoopla and Libby are our e-book resources. Hoopla e-books are always available. If the title you want is checked out on Libby, just place a hold on it. (Don’t forget that Hoopla also has digital audiobooks, music, movies, and TV shows.)
