Are you a resident of Deerfield who wants to access library resources from home, but don’t have a library card? We have you covered! Deerfield Public Library has temporarily set up online registration for new library accounts. Registering for an account will give you access to a limited selection of our online resources, including Hoopla, Digital Library of Illinois, CreativeBug and Kanopy. These resources include ebooks, e-audiobooks, movies, instructional videos and more!
Here’s how it works. If you do not already have a library account, simply fill out the registration form found here. You will then get an email that includes a temporary barcode for you to use to access online resources. Please note that this account will give you access to some, but not all, of our online services.
Register for a Library Account
All temporary cards will expire on July 1, 2020, so please stop by the library after we reopen with a photo ID and current proof of your residence in Deerfield. We will then be able to set you up with a resident card, giving you access to everything the library has to offer.
If you have any questions about using our online resources, please feel free to email us at reference@deerfieldlibrary.org.
